Which InstantVap Should You Buy?

Four InstantVap models suit different hive numbers, power preferences and treatment speeds. For most beekeepers, we recommend the InstantVap Compact. It offers a strong balance of speed, simplicity and portability.

Buy for the apiary you are growing into, not only the one you have today.

InstantVap Lite

The Lite is the smallest and lightest cordless model. Its preset operating temperature and simple controls suit hobby beekeepers and smaller apiaries. A typical 2 g treatment cycle takes about 50 to 60 seconds at around 20°C.

Best for: roughly 1 to 20 hives, lower-volume treatment and users who value low weight.

InstantVap Compact

The Compact is our recommended option for most beekeepers. It is considerably faster than the Lite while remaining simple to operate, with intelligent LED feedback and a typical 2 g treatment time of about 20 to 25 seconds at around 20°C.

Best for: roughly 20 to 100 colonies and beekeepers wanting the best all-round balance.

InstantVap Turbo

The Turbo is the fastest cordless model in the range, with a typical 2 g treatment time of about 10 seconds at around 20°C. It includes a digital temperature and voltage display and adjustable temperature controls.

Best for: commercial and high-volume apiaries where treatment speed matters most.

InstantVap Original 12V

The Original is a wired 12V unit with a 4 m cable. It provides temperature and voltage information with adjustable controls and a typical 2 g treatment time of about 20 to 25 seconds at around 20°C.

Best for: beekeepers who prefer wired 12V power and hands-on control.

Choose the correct power option

InstantVap cordless units do not include a battery or charger. Choose the battery socket that matches the tool-battery platform you already use. Check the product page and manufacturer instructions for the recommended battery specification for your exact model.

Safety comes first

Oxalic acid vaporisation requires appropriate PPE and careful handling. Follow the treatment product label, safety data sheet, InstantVap instructions and applicable Australian requirements every time.
